Project Estimation Steps

1. In the first step, we will observe the requirements sheet / Reference Sites sent by client.
2. After analyzing the project as per my knowledge, we will collect some reference sites.
3. Compare client requirements with the reference sites features.
4. Once we get clarity on the project, we will start working on preparation of estimation document.
5. This estimation document overall holds the details of project estimation in Man hours, Budget, Time period as well as infrastructure details.
6. Apart of estimation details, we will also suggest the client more features, usability cases, technologies with differences, Server requirements.
7. Mostly in our estimation document, we will represent the details of project like critical phases in the project, extra data needed from client, how we are going to do the project.
8. This estimation sheet would be in table format.
9. In the first four rows of estimation table, we will tell the client the details of

1. Reference sites with features list that we have observed
2. Project Overall Budget
3. No.of persons that are going to work in the project.

 10.Remaining rows in the estimation table, we will explain the details of

1. List the Features
2. Explain the duration in days and man hours for each feature.
3. List the Critical features separately.
4. Explain the reasons for toughness in critical features.
5. Testing Feasibilities.
6. Management sheets preparation time period and man hours.
7. SD Preparation period, DFD Preparation Period.
8. Along with all the details, we will add 20% risk period to the project estimation and will send to the client.
